Arms and hands are heavily scarred with horizontal scars across the forearm, track marks on the inside elbows and upper arms, and two scars on left palm. Brigitte often appears strung out and tired. She dresses casually in jeans, tee-shirts, sweaters, boots...whatever is easy to pack and carry. Brief History: The youngest of the Fitzgerald sisters, Brigitte was born to Pamela and Henry Fitzgerald in September 1985, one year after her sister Ginger. Growing up in the suburb of Bailey Downs, Brigitte formed an intensely close bound with her older sister which became even stronger when both girls were listed as freaks by their fellow classmates. As a child Brigitte did well in school and was eventually pushed ahead in grade nine, joining her older sister in the tenth grade. In the fall of 2000 strange attacks began to take place in Bailey Downs and one night in October Brigitte and Ginger came face to face with a werewolf that had been terrorizing the suburbs. At that time Ginger was attacked and infected with the lycanthrope virus. Within days Ginger began exhibiting changes, causing the sisters to bicker and grow apart. During that time Brigitte turned to Sam, a local boy who had also witnessed the werewolf, in the hopes of finding a cure for Ginger. The pair discovered a plant known as monkshood which legend had could cure the lycanthrope virus but Brigitte soon discovered that Ginger wanted nothing to do with this “cure”. Turning on Brigitte, Ginger ran off to find Sam, leaving Brigitte to follow after. Once she found her sister at Sam’s greenhouse Brigitte cut both her and Ginger’s hands, mixing their blood and infecting herself. Finally Ginger agreed to come with Brigitte but it was already too late. After being knocked out by Sam, Ginger changed into a full blown werewolf and preceded to hunt after Brigitte and Sam. After Sam is killed, Brigitte killed Ginger with a knife to the heart to save her own life. Alone for the first time in her life, Brigitte ran away from Bailey Downs and spent the next year living on the street as a junkie. The monkshood was not a cure after all, merely a suppressant. Before coming to Hotel California Brigitte was running away from another werewolf after witnessing a young librarian named Jeremy gruesomely attacked by the creature. Personality: Quiet and intelligent, Brigitte is an introverted loner who is surprisingly moralistic at times. In the past she has tried to do the right thing and does have a rare compassion for other misfits though she rarely shows it. She has a strong artistic streak in her and a creative mind that leans on the morbid sign. Blood and death have often been incorporated in her photography and she has no phobias of such things. She can be incredibly pessimistic but at heart Brigitte is a survivor who is slowly coming to terms with her own newly found independence while dealing with the guilt she feels over her sisters death. Through this she has come to value her own life however and has be trying obsessively to find a cure for the lycanthrope virus. Because of this she has become mentally addicted to the drug aconite, a extract from the monkshood plant, and will do anything to get it. Her life recently has been a nightmare as she has been chased by another werewolf so Brigitte is high-strung and nervous. She is reluctant to open up to other people, especially after Sam, so Brigitte is sarcastic and anti-social when she meets most at first. Her experiences have forced Brigitte to grow up quickly so she mature for her age but she still retains the same sullen attitude that most would associate with teenagers.
